European ACMI airlines recruit pilots, cabin crew, engineers, operations staff, and support teams for work that can change by season and customer contract. The difficult part is finding the operator’s real careers page and checking whether a vacancy is still open.
This directory provides a verified starting point. Every company below described ACMI, wet-lease, or closely related contract flying on its official website when checked on 9 September 2026. Inclusion is not an endorsement, ranking, or claim that the airline is hiring for your role today.
Careers-page review: 2 October 2026. The six official careers routes below were rechecked. The operator descriptions retain their September source context; this review does not reconfirm every fleet detail or establish an open vacancy for your role.

Vacancy systems can sit on a different recruitment domain linked from the airline’s site. Start from the official page above rather than trusting a copied advert or search result.
1. Avion Express
Avion Express presents itself as a narrow-body ACMI operator flying the Airbus A320 family. Its pilot recruitment page describes work supporting airlines with seasonal demand, network expansion, and operational capacity across multiple continents.
Useful for: pilots and cabin crew interested in Airbus narrow-body contract flying and changing customer operations. Type, hours, licence, base, and recency requirements depend on the live vacancy.
Check Avion Express pilot recruitment or browse the broader Avion Express careers site.
2. GetJet Airlines
Vilnius-based GetJet Airlines describes itself as an ACMI and charter provider. Its official site displayed a mixed Airbus A320/A321 and Boeing 737 NG fleet when this page was checked. The careers page links to live openings and also offers a general application route.
Useful for: candidates comparing Airbus and Boeing narrow-body opportunities, as well as operations, technical, cabin, and head-office roles. Do not infer an opening from the fleet list; use the vacancy system for the current requirement.
3. KlasJet
KlasJet operates ACMI services and VIP charter. Its ACMI careers page focuses on Boeing 737 recruitment and provides a route to current roles and HR contact information.
Useful for: pilots seeking Boeing 737 opportunities and candidates interested in an operator combining ACMI and charter work. Verify whether the advertised position belongs to KlasJet or another company in the wider group and read the contracting details carefully.
4. Hi Fly
Portugal-based Hi Fly describes itself as a worldwide wide-body wet-lease specialist with an Airbus fleet. Its careers page publishes vacancies across flight operations and support functions, with individual adverts setting the experience and travel expectations.
Useful for: candidates targeting wide-body wet-lease operations or roles with substantial international deployment. The company’s own careers text makes clear that some positions can require long periods outside Portugal.
5. Titan Airways
UK-based Titan Airways undertakes varied passenger, cargo, charter, and longer-term aircraft-lease programmes. Its pilot page says missions can change daily and may involve standby, unsociable hours, or time away from home. It also identifies pilot bases in the UK and Malta while noting that contract-specific recruitment can occur elsewhere.
Useful for: pilots who value varied flying and are comfortable with a less routine operating pattern. Titan says it recruits at multiple experience levels, but the live vacancy remains the authority for current entry routes.
6. ASL Aviation Holdings
ASL Aviation Holdings lists European airlines in Ireland, Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom. The group combines cargo and passenger activity, including ACMI, charter, and scheduled flying. Its careers page routes candidates to current opportunities across the group.
Useful for: pilots and aviation professionals interested in cargo as well as passenger operations, or in comparing opportunities across several European AOCs. Identify the exact employing airline and base in every advert.

Why this is not a complete list
The European ACMI market changes. Operators add and remove aircraft, create subsidiaries, move capacity between AOCs, or cease trading. For example, SmartLynx Airlines ended operations in 2025, so old recruitment and fleet articles can now mislead jobseekers. Our SmartLynx closure timeline explains that case.
A shorter directory with verified destinations is more useful than a long list containing dormant brands, brokers, lessors without an AOC, or outdated job links. We will update this page as official operator information changes.
How to verify an ACMI airline and vacancy
- Identify the legal operator. A brand, group, recruiter, and AOC holder may not be the same entity.
- Start from the official domain. Follow its link to the applicant-tracking system instead of clicking a copied apply button.
- Check the AOC authority. In Europe, an AOC is normally issued and overseen by the national aviation authority in the operator’s state, although oversight can be transferred to EASA in specified cases.
- Read the vacancy date and status. A search engine can retain an expired role after the airline has closed it.
- Match the email domain. Be cautious when a supposed airline recruiter uses only a free mailbox or will not identify the employing company.
- Verify before sending sensitive records. Passport, licence, medical, and banking information should go only through a confirmed process.
- Never pay merely to secure an interview. If training is involved, require the provider, scope, cost, refund, and employment conditions in writing.
EASA explains that the Air Operator Certificate covers the operator’s certification and continuing oversight. It does not publish one universal directory of every national AOC holder, so candidates may need to check the relevant national authority.
How to choose which ACMI airlines to target
Begin with your deployable profile rather than the brand name. Record:
- licence authority and work rights;
- valid medical, ratings, and language endorsement;
- total, multi-pilot, and time-on-type hours;
- last flight and recent sectors on type;
- preferred aircraft and willingness to change type;
- acceptable home bases, gateways, and rotation lengths;
- earliest start date and notice period; and
- employee-versus-contractor constraints.
Then apply only where the published minimums fit. Our nine-step ACMI pilot job guide covers CV structure, document preparation, assessment, and contract review. If you are earlier in your career, use the low-time pilot jobs guide to avoid treating experienced-hire vacancies as entry-level routes.
Compare more than the aircraft type
An attractive aircraft can distract from the terms that determine daily life. Compare the assigned home base, real positioning gateway, roster stability, hotel standard, guaranteed pay, training costs, insurance, sick leave, and notice clauses. Ask what happens if the customer contract ends before your employment or service agreement.
Read our ACMI pilot roster and lifestyle guide before evaluating a rotational offer, and use the ACMI salary guide to calculate annual compensation after unavoidable costs.

A simple application tracker
Keep one row per vacancy with the airline, legal employer, role URL, publication date, closing date, aircraft, base, licence requirement, minimum hours, work-right requirement, application date, response, and follow-up date. Save the advert as a PDF because the online page may disappear before an interview or contract discussion.
Check each target’s careers page weekly rather than repeatedly submitting the same general application. If the operator offers a talent pool, record the submission date and update it only when your hours, rating, base availability, or contact details materially change.
Frequently asked questions
Which European ACMI airline is best for pilots?
There is no defensible universal ranking. The best fit depends on aircraft, base, roster, contract status, compensation, training terms, progression, and your personal constraints. Compare written offers rather than employer marketing alone.
Are all ACMI pilot jobs rotational?
No. Some roles are home-based or tied to a long-term programme, while others use blocks of deployment and leave. Confirm the assigned home base and actual travel-day treatment.
Can non-type-rated pilots apply?
Only when the vacancy permits it. Requirements can change between recruitment campaigns at the same airline. Do not buy a type rating solely because an operator appears in this directory.
Does an airline appearing here mean it is hiring now?
No. The links lead to official sources, but individual openings can close at any time. Check the vacancy status and date on the operator’s own site.
